is a distinguished educator with over fifty years of experience. A graduate of Loreto House and Sophia College, she retired as Principal of La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata, where she had the honour of hosting U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Throughout her career, she served at St. Thomas’ Boys School Kolkata, St. Thomas Church School and founded Pailan World School, the first I.G.C.S.E.-affiliated school in Kolkata. As Principal of Pailan, she hosted notable dignitaries, including His Royal Highness, the Prince of Oman, Counsel General of Italy and the A.C. Milan football team. She also served as the founding principal of Taurian World School Ranchi, and Gems Cambridge International School, Punjab. After her retirement she joined the Ashok Hall Group as Director of Academics.
Currently, Mrs. Mirza is the Chairperson of London Intellectuals, Cambridge University’s first Associate Partner in India.
Mrs. Mirza has received numerous awards some of which are Mother Teresa International Award, Telegraph T2 SHE Award in the field of education and the Swami Vivekananda Excellence Award. She has authored several Mathematics and Science textbooks. Don Bosco is honoured to have Mrs. Mirza as Academic Head and Advisory Board member.
