ROBOTICS & STEM PREP

In today’s digital world, robotics and AI play a crucial role. It empowers students to become creators of technology, not just consumers. These skills cultivate critical thinking, empowering students to navigate a rapidly changing world with confidence.

Students across Grades I – X experience these futuristic lessons beyond the periphery of books and computers. The trained students are regularly encouraged to participate in Robot Olympiads and competitions, both on national and international platforms.

The key features of our lab:

  1.   Robotics:

Juniors begin with LEGO WeDo kit, which introduces the principles of building and programming robots. It helps students create simple robots while learning basic concepts like motion, sensors, and mechanics through engaging, hands-on activities.

Seniors work with advanced LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit, which includes a special powerful programmable computer called EV3 Intelligent Brick. They design, program and assemble robots from various components using an intuitive icon-based software, learning to control motors and sensors.

Finally, children operate their own built robots independently.

  1. 3D Printer: Students bring their imaginations to life with 3D printing. The printer follows precise instructions from a computer-aided design (CAD) file, allowing students to apply their understanding of geometry, creating 3D objects from a computerized digital model using plastic, layer by layer.
  2. KEVA: A Keva structure is built using wooden planks, allowing for creative designs without glue or fasteners. Students use balance and gravity to create everything from simple towers to complex architectural models, fostering visual thinking and problem-solving skills.
  3. Coding and App Development teaches programming skills and logical thinking, empowering students to create mobile apps, video games, and web applications using Scratch and MIT’s App Inventor. They learn to design, build, and test their creations, promoting creativity, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of technology.
