Forming a proper study group is one of the effective way to enhance your scope of learning. It is because groups share unique insights and learn from each other. In fact group members can also teach confusing concepts in a better way.

1) Firstly, form an effective study group. A study group will be most effective if it is comprised of people who are committed to a similar goal. An ideal study group should consist of 4 to 6 members who meet for between one and three hours.

2) Show up prepared. Each member should come to the group prepared so that they can pass on the knowledge of the concepts. Before attending your group session, you should be familiar with the material and you should know what areas you are having difficulty with.

3) Stay organized and focused. This can be challenging when working with a group. Hence, there should be a group leader. In many cases, the person who started the study group is the leader of that session hence decides the lesson plan accordingly.

b) You can even practice the study questions found at the end of chapters in your text book.

c) If you have multiple chapters to review or multiple topics to cover, you could assign each person in the group specific topics or chapters to present to the group. This can be a great time saver and will eventually help you cover broader topics at a less period of time without having to slog for endless hours.
